MBC desires to help you grow into a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.
MBC desires to help you grow into a disciple of Christ. One way we try to accomplish this is through our Sunday School Department. Every Sunday morning at 9:45, we gather into specially designated Sunday School classes and supply each person with the best materials and the best teachers to help you grow in grace. We believe in giving you not only something for your HEART, but also in giving you something for your HAND. The materials we give are yours to keep for your library and future reference. Please attend one of these classes with us as we learn together about Jesus Christ and how to live for Him!
The Bus Ministry
The Bus Ministry has been a great blessing to our church. Since starting this ministry we have seen so many children come through our doors, sit in our services, hear about Jesus Christ and get saved. These children have made an impact upon our lives. We want to reach many more kids through this ministry. We need laborers to help us with our effort to go into the "highways and hedges" to bus in all that we can. You can contact our Bus Director, Mike Bennett @ 770.540.2593 or Nathan Dinsmore @ 706.973.7642 for further information.
We started this ministry because those of the "Golden Aged Years" are often pushed to the side or neglected in church today. Those that have carried the torch faithfully ahead of the younger generation need to know that they are appreciated and still needed as a part of the Church of Jesus Christ. The Happy Pilgrims include ages 45+ and usually get together for fellowship and fun several times throughout the year.
This is a ministry geared towards middle aged members, 20-44 years. We are a diverse group, made up of single adults and married couples, seeking to “excel to the edifying of the church” (I Cor 14:12). We are the next generation of new leaders within our communities, churches, and homes. Our goal with this ministry is to provide a platform to grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially through fellowship with each other and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our ladies are such a vital part of the work and ministry of MBC. They cook, they clean, they plan, they change dirty diapers, they keep the nursery, they pray and many times without any "thank you" or recognition. We want our "Ladies" of MBC to be able to enjoy the ministry and be rewarded for their efforts, which our church would not survive without. Our ladies plan different outings and meetings together to encourage one another, build unity and learn more about Jesus Christ.
